Day 13 of Olympic Torch Relay: Stoke-on-Trent to Bolton
Thursday, May 31st, 2012
Today the Olympic torch is being carried from Stoke-on-Trent to Bolton by specified torch bearers. It is the 13th day of a 70 day journey which will see the torch pass through over 1,000 villages, towns and cities throughout the UK before making it back to London in time for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on July 27th.
After leaving Stoke-on-Trent the flame will pass through the following places before arriving in Bolton; Cobridge, Burslem, Middleport, Crewe, Congleton, Macclesfield, Knutsford, Runcorn, Widnes, Warrington, Lowton, Abram, Wigan, Scholes, Ince, Hindley, Westhoughton.
The Olympics is very much about variety in terms of events, nations and venues. At Tiles Porcelain we also place great emphasis on variety to ensure we have tiles for everyone. This includes a huge selection of granite, travertine, marble, slate, limestone, porcelain, quartz and ceramic.
