Organize Your Kitchen with Simple Tips

Monday, July 30th, 2012

Kitchen is considered the centre of the home. This is where the family and guests converge to take their meals. A messy kitchen makes the cooking and eating experiences both unpleasant.

Instead of cluttering the counters, you must put away the occasionally used appliances in the cabinet.  Introducing the junk drawer is a good idea. It makes a good hiding spot.  But make sure the other drawers don’t share any resemblance with the junk drawer.  Putting stuff atop the refrigerator gives the kitchen a more cluttered look, therefore remove the items and find another place to keep them.  Assign cabinets to items systematically. To store dishes, choose a cabinet nearest to the sink and dishwasher. Put all the spices in one cabinet nearest to stove rather than moving across the kitchen to grab them from different cabinets.

Make it a firm habit to place the things where they belong right after you are done using them. This is one of the greatest techniques to remove the clutter from kitchen.
